Summary: Internal Merchandise Theft Case

On December 21, 2016, AP closed an Internal Merchandise Theft case at the E-Commerce building at store 1963 for a value of $96.25. AP was alerted when the EES alarm went off while the associate was exiting the building. AP asked the associate to pass in front the alarm without his backpack and once again the alarm went off. AP asked the associate to remove stuff from his jacket at which time the associate requested to go to the bathroom. AP heard the toilet flushing a several times while the associate was in the bathroom. The associate exited the bathroom and was escorted back to the AP office where the associate emptied his jacket pockets.
