Genocide is becoming an epidemic that must be stopped. While some people believe that the United Nations should intervene in a country that is targeting civilian population at polarization, the 5th stage of genocide because at this point the government and its civilians are no longer using words but have moved on to actions which affects others way more. But it is evident that the U.N. should intervene at the organization the 4h stage because this is the planning stage where it is well thought out the kill and if countries do not have a plan then genocide will be much harder to carry out. On March 8th, 2017 United to End Genocide published “Rwandan Genocide,” an informative article about the causes and effects of the Rwandan Genocide. For example, “ In response, the Hutu changes their strategy believing if the opposition was completely exterminated their majority power and status would be reassures ad preserved” (United to End Genocide). In other words, the Hutu changed and organized a new strategy in order to preserve their power and authority. That strategy was to exterminate all existing Tutsi natives. This demonstrates organization because the Hutus were clearly organizing a plan to eliminate the Tutsi.
