Summary: Decrease In Home Care Services

Low income seniors are at a disadvantage when it comes to receiving proper care (Counsell, Callahan, Clark, Tu, Buttar, Stump, and Ricketts, 2007). They have little to no know about their health conditions, chronic medical issues and limited access to the health care (Counsell, et al., 2007). Poor older adults have high medical expenses in which they cannot afford preventative care and most likely does not receive the standard care that they need (Counsell, et al., 2007). When managing a home health care firm the issue arises of what to do when an elderly individual does not have the means to pay for the minimum services offered to operate daily.
