Continuing health education includes activities, learning encounters or individual attempts that resolve in either a recognized, also known as credentialed, or unrecognized also known as uncredentialled knowledge according to Leadlow and Stephens (2018). The formal CHE includes those undertakings backed through specialized organizations or through a higher education that offers credit, towards a certificate or licensure. Mensik and Kennedy (2016) mentioned the necessity for more formal education, not only for the baccalaureate, but also masters of science in nursing, doctor of nursing practice, and PhD in nursing–prepared nurses that have the emphasis in nursing leadership and management.
