Hello all, For my Multi-Disciplinary Team Alliance Research Project, I want to find more information on 1. Discussing the link between behavior issues and undiagnosed developmental issues with teens and adolescents. I want to find ways instructors identify behavioral issues beyond simple “school bullies” and why some adolescents result to violence and neglect for authority figures. 2. I want to research ways, middle to elderly adults can see programs and adult daycare centers that provide proper resources and stimulation as to improve their human condition.…
Meeting with several health care professionals and community members to engage in inter-professional collaboration for my course work personally and professionally beneficial. Speaking with multiple community organizations and resources taught me of the resources to use in completing my course work for Community Health Nursing to educate low income individuals ways to improve obesity and provide them with resources for preventative education opportunities. Also speaking with health care professionals within my organization and working with them to make changes will provide my patients with a safer environment for them and their infants, while including their family members in their care.…
This would be beneficial for the reason that our own selves would have more time in class to work on our assignments that are due that day. Our own selves would have more time in study hall to work. Our own selves would most likely have more time to work in class depending on how much the workload is. Our own selves would have a longer lunch period. Our own selves would have more class time to work.…
• Research shows that patient outcomes and quality of care improves when advanced practice nurses (APNs) collaborate with other health care professionals. Collaboration helps to reduce health care costs, provide the best care, and to develop new research models (Brootenet al., 2012). • For health care providers and APNs to have an effective collaboration relationship they must acquire an interprofeesional mindset. One has to be willing to learn to work together with others in a professional health care setting. Effective socialization is the key for APNs and health care professional to successfully collaborate with one another.…
Interprofessional Collaboration: The Key to Success Sarah MacLachlan St. Clair College Abstract Interprofessional collaboration of health care professionals was created by The Interprofessional Care Strategic Implementation Committee to improve all aspects of patient care. This strategy involves a team of different health care professionals who work together using established communication methods, roles, and set guidelines for a common purpose. Interprofessional collaboration in health care benefits the patient by ensuring that they get a fast and proper diagnosis using the combined knowledge of different professionals, benefits the health care providers by creating a less stressful, pleasant work environment, and works to improve Ontario’s…
The group I participated in for the first meeting of communities of practice was the medical studies group. The group was composed of six individuals including myself; which were Hydi Ybarra, Ella Chen, Lina Mohammed, and Jessica Robles. In this meeting, I had the fortune of meeting a group of wonderful young women who had similar views when it came to providing medical services to minorities and became friends with two of these individuals quickly. During the discussion, we mentioned how insurance played a big role when it came to healthcare and the access it has based on insurances. We discussed how despite the fact that many individuals are paying hundreds of dollars to have insurance they are still charged a co-payment amount that is due before each visit or hospitalization.…
Mutual participation model is usually desired based on equality within decisions between the physician-patient. The two interact as if it’s an interaction: Mutual participation has the potential to help us to deal with patients who are dependent and who do not want autonomy. When the patient takes on the sick role, he seeks assistance from a person he believes might help him. A mutual participatory relationship implies give and take from both sides.…
Collaboration is the process of working together with others to improve a piece of writing. It is a process in which others revise one’s original work and give the author advise on how to edit their piece of writing. Different perspectives are shared and taken into consideration, thus allowing the author to get a fresh pair of eyes on their writing other than their own. It is a very important step when completing a paper because it helps us be able to see the improvements needed to be made that we might not have noticed. Project 1:…
Cause and Effect – Peer Review In an interview with Petr Munzy, a Law Professor of Law and Logic on human thinking, he speaks of one basic principle that permeates the whole universe. It is the principle of Cause and Effect. He states in his interview that every effect around us must have a cause. For example, you walk in a Forrest, and right there in the middle of the Forrest you see a bench.…
B2305 I hate school but I actually enjoyed intersession. Intersession is where you get a break from your regular classes for three days. It’s where you get to branch out and take other classes that you enjoy. During intersession I took the class Lifetime Sports.…
The majority of every hospital in California has a mission and vision statement that seems to only hire employees that have compassion and can provide the best Patient care. Not every hospital carries the same impact within the neighborhood that the hospital is located. Take Children 's Hospital in Los Angeles, California (CHLA), for example. Not to be mistaken for California 's Children 's Hospital of Orange county (CHOC). With Children 's Hospital Los Angeles the facility has been in the area since 1901, originally starting as a house, it has now turned into a Specialty Hospital for Pediatrics.…
The effects of environmental influences are wide-ranging depending on the prevailing environmental factors. A particular stage of development fails to take place normally, especially the critical period when cells multiply and enlarge to form organs. Prenatal development is critical in determining the health and structure of a newborn. For example, exposure to chemicals, radioactive material, and drugs among other hazardous conditions may lead to failure in development of some body parts, stunted growth in babies as well as poor cognitive development. Severe exposure can lead to miscarriage or death during and immediately after birth (Hepper 2005).…

Collaboration is the key component to many successful organizations, teams, and practices in our world. Creating a collaborative culture can be defined in many ways. Collaborative cultures are created with a set of goals, managed efficiently, and support team members at every stage in the process. As Senge (2008) stated, the creation is difficult, takes courage, and a lot of patience. A collaborative culture is created upon essential foundations including a shared vision, diverse thinking, innovation, and support.…
We have 5 members in our group of whom 2 were male, and 3 were female. After we were assigned the project, we all came together, and made a commitment to do it better, and succeed at it. Firstly, we welcomed ideas from everyone, without setting any criteria. Our project was to reinvent any product with more features that will be helpful for public. It was a very challenging project because we were to redesign a particular product, which should be more appealing to the costumers in terms of features, solution of particular problems, availability, and cost.…
