Consumers should not eat any Blue Bell products. Some of these products may still be in people’s homes. Consumers that are unaware of the recall can continue eating the products and get sick. Institutions and food places should not serve any product made by Blue Bell. These products are in the freezer, costumers, institutions and retailers need to check the freezers.
Surfaces or refrigerators that have been in contact with this contaminated ice cream must be cleaned. First wash the walls and shelves of the refrigerator. Sanitize with hot water and chlorine and dry with a paper towel that has not been used to clean the refrigerator before.
