Summary: A Modest Proposal To Quit Smoking

In November of 2013, I smoked my last cigarette.

Before you cheer me for such a huge victory, let me tell you something, I am one who had absolutely NO desire to quit smoking. I loved smoking, I just hated all the hassles which come with it, and the expense, and the dirt and ash and stink and offense to others, and even a little bit, the health risks. BUT, I LOVED smoking and so I was not looking to quit.

I learned about E-cigs, and I switched. Gone are the heavy expenses, the hassles, the dirt and ash, the bad health risks, the offense to others, but I still LOVE vaping.

There is a lot of propaganda out there trying to claim that E-cigs are just as bad as regular tobacco. It would be of interest to you to know that regular tobacco manufacturers are just some of the ones funding such nonsense, because the E-cig industry is cutting directly into THEIR profits. Meanwhile, they have the funds to push legislation which leave them the only ones in business.

Don't believe it's about public health, it’s ALL about TAX revenue!

I am always amused whenever I see government funded ad campaigns aimed against tobacco use, for that matter. Does any NON smoker have a clue how much tax is paid on each pack of cigarettes? If every smoker quit, they'd go broke!

None the less, the E-cig industry desires exactly that, and has helped many of us DO exactly that, quit
