As a medical pathologist, they focus on many areas of illnesses including cardiovascular disease, cancer, genetics, and renal disease. When asked if i would choose a pathologist as a choice of career, I would say no because, it looks like a job that would require a lot of training, a lot of focus, and a lot of schooling. It is said that as a pathologist, it requires a bachelor’s degree along with 4 years of medical school and depending on the type of pathology area studied, 4 or 5 years of residency is also needed. Pathologist’s job market today is declining because health insurers are paying less for pathology lab testing equipments.
