1. Summarize in 1-2 sentences, what is gratitude?
To understand gratitude there are two components, the first component of gratitude is the confirmation of goodness, which is that we confirm that the world offers good thing through the retrieval of benefits and gifts. The second component is the recognition of outside sources that helped us achieve the goodness throughout our life, through the belief in higher power or religious/spiritual views.

2. Summarize in 1-2 sentences, why practice gratitude?
In the article, there are so many health, social, personal, and emotional benefits from practicing gratitude that research has uncovered, describes that practicing gratitude makes one an overall better person. In the article, it mentions that gratitude
