Now currently located in Nara National Museum, but it was originally from tower of Kokubunji. This sutra made in Eighth century Asuka Era. Material are paper, which dyed into purple and the word is written in Gold ink. The Total Ten scroll and size is length 297.2 and 25.9 long (one scroll for each). This Sutra is made by the order from Emperor Seimu and placed it in side of tower of Kokubunji in Eighth century Asuka Era. With the sacred book including the accepted doctrine of koka-chingo (country protect) by the all gods and Buddha god of justice including the king Four Devas, it becomes from ten volumes. The Emperor Shomu gave an Imperial mandate, edict or decree in 741CE. Tenbyo era 13 years and gave it an order to build Kokubunji and Kokubu every country. It was set of the tower of Kokubunji that I enshrined it. Kokubunji was called “Koumyou-Shitenou-gokogoji”. National temple which expected koka-chingo (country protect) by the king Four Devas based on faith. According to Shoso-in document, to copy the sacred book of the gilt character of the government establishment the place to copy and make the Sutra. End up making 71 copies of 710 roll. Emperor Shomu has it only with a gilt character, and there is not the designation about the color of the writing
