What you need to research is the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh the first recognise literature in cuneiform also the first form of writing in existence. It is basically the story of a hero in a fighting against death. In it you will find the flood story Noah (Ziusudra) and Adam and Eve (Ninti and Enki). The stories are modified to fit the newer version (Biblical) and considering Abraham was originally from Ur, a Sumerian city, it isn't to hard to establish the storyline was plagiarised from material that predates the bible story by at least a millennia.

Also note, the 10 commandments can be found in the Code of Hammurabi referred to as the per-cursor to the Mosaic codes. That code of Hammurabi was itself built on the legal codices of the Sumerians

    Joseph Campbell’s definition of the hero’s journey can be directly applied to Gilgamesh’s story even though some may not consider him to be a hero.
