Sully: Miracle in the Hudson (Review)

This movie is about the first ditching of a plane were everyone survived. We can also see how the captain of the plane accordingly to the situation tries everything to save the people in the plane, and after the accident he is accused and almost defendant because the court thinks that the plane had the possibility of arriving safely to LaGuardia airport. After long investigations into the remains of the plane, they find a result that will benefit Sully later in the movie. In my opinion, this movie is very interesting and engaging because after you watch when the plane gets into the water everything takes a very fast pace, it has a lot of action and suspense also this movie is based on real events.

Flight 93 may have been accurate movie based on the United States Government’s recollection, but there may be evidence that concludes otherwise. Flight 93 was not a very exaggerated movie, it is filled with raw emotions of those who had to say goodbye to their families. Most of the nitty gritty details were captured in their essence but some larger details were left out completely. The movie was a perfect replica of the US government’s press release of what happened during 9/11. Some large details however were non-existent in the movie.…

The movie started out weird and I was confused with what was going on and who was who or who worked for who. The movie started out with someone trying to rob some type of office which was later found out to be the office of a democratic public official. Bob Woodward of the Washington Post tried to interview a lawyer that was attending the case but was not in the case but the lawyer did not give out any information and said that he knew nothing about what was going on and gave no type of information on the topic. He was hostile and suspicious and it seemed that he knew everything that was going on and it was suspicious that a lawyer like him was there.…

John Boorstin realized that through his “eye’s theory” there are three different aspects of a movie that affect your viewpoint of the film simultaneously: the voyeuristic, vicarious, and visceral. What Boorstin concluded was that these three forces impose a particular feel on the viewer. The Adjustment Bureau represents each of these “three eyes” the best. First, the “voyeuristic” eye to film is the philosophy behind the films production.…

Favela: in Brazil, an urban slum or ghetto; illegal squatter settlement. This is how the film Favela Rising begins. It begins by describing what a favela is, which I am glad it does because this is a term that I have never heard of before. This film discusses what life is like in Brazil and goes through different slums in Brazil. It was made to inform and show people what the slums were like in Brazil and to give the audience a glimpse of what life is like for them.…

    1. Over a hundred people were involved in the production of this film. The entire cast and crew are not given equal credit in most films. The majority of the camera crew and other production workers are not given as much credit for their work as the actors and director/producers, even though they play a huge role in the development and production of the movie. The making of a huge blockbuster like ‘The Departed’ involves the use of an immense crew.…

The time travel paradox or simply temporal paradox is a self contradictory argument in which time and space contradict each other and challenge destiny. A paradox is a self-contradicting idea that is logically unacceptable because there is no logic explanation to prove it. There are two types of temporal paradoxes: the causal loop and the grandfather paradox; each of them have the same basis, but have subtle differences. The movie “12 Monkeys” is built around a causal loop that enters in the subgenera of a self-fulfilling prophecy. This specific genre of the time travel paradox is based on the fact that an event in the future affect events of the past that will later on affect the future making an inconsistent logic of unexplainable relation of time and space.…
