Background
Suicide is the purposeful demonstration of executing oneself. It’s the act of intentionally causing one’s own death. Self-destructive considerations are normal in individuals with mind-set issue, particularly despair. Every year, more than 30,000 suicides are accounted for in the United States; suicide endeavors are evaluated to be 8 to 10 times higher. In the USA, men contribute to 72% of suicides, which is around three times the rate of females, in spite of the fact that women are four times more probable to commit suicide than men (D 'Augelli, 2002).

Such patients suffer from conditions like sorrow, bipolar, schizophrenia, substance misuse, posttraumatic anxiety disorder and marginal identity issues. Furthermore there are chronic illnesses that put an individual on lifetime medications and disability. Such conditions predispose one to suicidal thoughts. They include HIV or AIDS, diabetes, cerebrovascular mishaps, head and spinal cord injuries. Not forgetting the dreadful cancer which apart from being a lifetime condition, present with unbearable pain and an awful sense of despair since the affected person knows that the end result is death. In addition, elements like social isolation, loss of a close family member or friend, unemployment status, basic life calamities, late misfortunes and a family history of gloom or suicide are only but a few of the social economic factors that build the suicide danger. Perhaps another predisposing factor to suicidal behaviors that shouldn’t be left undiscussed is the issue of sexuality in the youth, gay youth in particular. The social stigma that comes with the disclosure of gay sexuality is among the top causes of suicide. From the many studies that are referenced later in this paper, it has been noted that, most suicide behavior among gay individuals happen amid puberty and youthful adulthood This notion is also true for individuals of all sexual introductions; national clinic information show insidiousness toward oneself rates are most astounding for youth age 15 to 19 years old. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report to have recorded a lot of suicidal attempts amidst youths of such ages.
