The Cause Of Tragic Suicide

Suicide has become one of the biggest social problems of our time, affecting all of our lives in some shape or form. Everyday someone is affected by this terrible serious matter. There are several different types of suicide. The first type of suicide is egoistic suicide, which is caused by a lack of social interventions. A person that faces this type of suicide often feels alone, but doesn’t want to be around anyone. Depression plays a major role in this type of suicide. Altruistic suicide is when someone gets overwhelmed by their own goals and beliefs. Many people feel this way because they don’t want to let someone down, let someone think any differently about them, or financial strains. Anomic suicide is when someone has a breakdown of social equilibrium. This happens when someone files bankruptcy or wins the lottery. It happens when an unexpected situation encounters with their daily life. Fatalistic suicide is the opposite of anomic suicide. Fatalistic suicide happens when someone feels like their future is blocked and passions are at a oppressive discipline. I was affected by this terrible thing, my dad committed suicide 7 years ago this year. He was a wealthy man in his early 40’s with a lot of life left ahead of him. Sadly, he had many financial problems and didn’t want to let my family down. He did not receive any help due to unavailable resources and the pressure of wanting no one to know about the problems he was having. He was a mixture of both Altruistic and Fatalistic suicide. He didn’t want to let anyone down and his goals were unachieved at this point in his life. My dad, Chris affected many people’s lives with his great mind and loving heart. This goes to show you that anyone will commit suicide, it doesn’t matter who you are, what you got, or your financial
