Sugar Addictions
In an article posted on October 16th by the Huffington Post, sugar is a real addiction. You may be addicted and not even know. Sugar affects the same parts of your brain that cocaine and heroine do. Those who are addicted to these dangerous drugs may feel the same as you when you crave, and eat sugar.
In the New York Daily News they tell that the average American can eat an average of 152 pounds of sugar in just one year. That is approximately 2.4 pounds of sugar a day. The article also tells that not only does America have a problem with sugar consumption so does Nigeria. Not only is Nigeria known for its sugar production, but also it is becoming famous for sugar ingestion.
