Successful Independent Learner

1. There are many essential aspects of an intrinsically motivated and active independent learner. One of the main aspects of a successful independent learner is that they take action as soon as they can and are persistent about what they do. A successful independent learner is a dependable person that is responsible and puts their learning work first. A successful independent learner sees their assignments as a challenge rather than an obstacle. A successful independent learner is a disciplined and curious individual that is not afraid to ask questions that will broaden their learning. A successful independent learner has the desire to learn and is confident in their ability to be able to learn. A successful independent learner studies and is not afraid to take notes when it seems appropriate. A successful independent learner knows how to manage their time and is able to create a schedule that allows them to finish their work at a reasonable pace. My first strategy for personal growth is to learn to take breaks which include getting more sleep. My second strategy for personal growth is to remind myself to ask for help when I need it rather than trying to do everything by myself. My third strategy for personal growth is to get better at time management by making sure that I take my time on my assignments and finish them at a reasonable pace so that I do not have to rush. My fourth strategy for personal growth is to make sure that I put in enough time studying what I am learning. My fifth strategy for personal growth is to learn to enjoy learning new things from the courses that have nothing to do with my desired professional field.
