One example of a way that they didn’t really have success was with trying to keep people believing in Catholicism instead of other religions. They pretty much failed on this because the church was split up into different sections like Calvinism, Lutheranism, and Protestant. These religions were created and go against the Catholic ideas but they are still around today and used. Another way that the Catholic church didn’t really have success was when they tried to make people follow the seven sacraments which sort of worked because the Catholic people followed the seven sacraments but if you weren’t in the Catholic church you followed some of the sacraments but they weren't a really big part of your life. One thing that they did have success on was educating the Clergy with the ability to speak and read latin. This was a big success because this meant that know the Clergy could read and translate the bible which was written in latin. This just furthered their ability to spread the word and get more people to believe in the Catholic church. As shown, the Catholic church had some success but not a lot they really didn’t do that well with aims like having everyone follow the seven sacraments and keeping the Catholic church from splintering into other
