All of these books had great ways to be successful. Also each book had a different way of to become successful. The three books I am talking about are Marita's bargain, Ile and, Kewauna’s Ambition. Two of the stories are about one person that went to school and found help there. The other one is a play that explain success in a different way. As I explain these ways of success maybe you can find one way to help you succeed in the future. The first book i’m gonna talk about is Marita’s Bargain. This is a story about a colored girl that grew up in a bad neighborhood with just her mom. The way she found success was to go to a school that’s called Kipp Academy. This is a school that helps the less fornchaint get a higher education and go on to college in the future. Marita would get up early to be on time at Kipp Academy because it was so far away from home. She would spend long days there working hard and not giving up on hard work. Ile is a story about a whailing ship that has been out on the sea’s for two years now. The caption has his wife on board along with his second mate, harpooner and the crew. The crew was upset because they signed a contract for two years of working and there contract was up that day. One way the caption used to get success was by force. An example of this was when his crew appeoched him saying that there contract was up and they said they wheren’t going to work anymore unless he truned the ship around. He showed how he refused to do so by hitting one of the members of the crew. He also used gun force to get his point across. He also tourched his wife by keeping his wife on the ship to get his success. The only reason he wanted success was because of his pride. He was affraide he’d hurt his pride if he didn’t come back with a full
