Success is something that is very important to me. While considering the idea of success and being successful, a few meanings come to mind. Success to me, means not having to worry, having a career I am passionate about, and working hard to achieve something great.
Today there are a lot of responsibilities working adults must worry about- bills, homes, cars, education, children, and much much more. When I achieve success I expect to not have to worry about these things. I expect to be able to enjoy life and provide for myself and my family without having to worry. The first step to my success is going to be my education. I realized this in high school, and have since, done the best I can do to ensure an easier path in life. I recently had a daughter, Sophia and am raising her as a single mother. I want her to be able to see my success and benefit from it. I do not want her to have to worry either. I want only the best for my baby and I do not want her to have to go without. If I don’t have to worry about my daughter not getting what she deserves, that to me is success. …show more content…
I currently attend Salem State University and work two jobs to pay bills and take care of my daughter. It would be a great feit to one day, to not have such a busy schedule. Endicott will provide me with the appropriate education to enter my desired career field: nursing. This school will give me the skills to enter a career I am very passionate about. I will be able to help others with and education from Endicott. Being able to enter a career I’m in love with is something successful to me. While giving me a place to learn and achieve the most crucial step on my road to success, Endicott is also much more convenient for me as a commuter.
