I remember the first day my kindergarten teacher knelt down next to me and said, “Olivia, what would you like to be when you grow up?” A typical response from a five-year-old usually includes a ballerina or an astronaut, but my response was always the same - a nurse. There is no single way to define success but to me success is achieving that goal, finally being able to make a positive difference in someone’s life. Success is having the best education and training to become a trusted caretaker. It is learning outside the classroom to gain experience from around the world or in the city. Success is finishing one degree and getting another just because its what you love. To me, success is more than just being a nurse, it is accomplishing a degree
