Have you ever questioned what is the real definition of success and failure? Success and failure are two argumentative beliefs because of the different perspective one’s have on each. These two are common to every person’s life. Indeed, there is no right or wrong answer. The two definitions almost always have one another in their definition. For example, success can mean simply not failing and failure can mean not succeeding. Nevertheless, their interconnection leaves me to believe success can only be determined by the way one learns from their failure; as well as, failure’s definition does not carry the absence of success.
Success is the ability to believe you will achieve and be happy. Each goal you set will then continue after that goal

If one believes they are capable of succeeding then they have to acknowledge that failure will approach their journey of success. Furthermore, people may have two different perspectives, which is being a failure or being successful and no in between. However, I disagree. I think there is a in between. Success can only be accomplished if you have first failed. A successful person can tell you. For example, how will you maintain successful? What if you fail in one step, but still you are successful. In order to be successful you must first learn the outcomes that come with failure. In detail, once when I was in the ninth grade I failed all of my classes. Then, I regretted failing the classes because I still had to make up for them during summer school. However, this time the classes were three hours long in the summer. I clearly hated myself for allowing myself to fail all of those classes. From then on, I never failed a class because I knew what it would take away from me, my summer. After, going through high school I will always remember to not fail a class no matter what because I will just hurt myself. In other words, view your mistakes as a positive way. By doing so, you will always remember what it takes to fail before you achieve. I define failure as a step to advancing even more because each time you have failed, you will always have a different point of view to achieving …show more content…
Although I know success can only be achieved through significant failures, it is my mentality that determines whether I am successful at the end. For example, I can fail at many things right now in life because I am young. However, I am young and there is lots of parts where I am successful already or will be. I choose that I am successful at life because I graduated from high school, I’m going to a university, and I have lots of knowledge through the streets. In other words, living in a household with low income you have to learn different ways to survive. In detail, I know how to handle hunger, no money issues, and most importantly being without a home. Others struggle and say they can’t deal with school because of the outside stress they hold within. Since, I at least graduated from high school I have the ability to find a job. Not a well payed job, but one that will cover my expenses. Most of all, my mother’s resources from the government helped me know where to find aid if needed. Furthermore, success is all I think about at this point in life because I want to do everything I can before I grow older and not see my mother proud from what I have become after high school. I believe it is more relevant for me to be successful. I am the second youngest in the family and my older siblings did not pursue higher education after high school. I want to be the change in my family and achieve more, only to demonstrate

Success is solely shown through the mind of the person, based on their values and what they’ve been taught to be “successful”. Success takes multiple different forms because multiple individuals have different interpretations of what success looks like from their perspective.
