Mr. Hawkins is a 15 year old male who presented to the ED via LEO under IVC for threatening to harm himself, intentionally harming himself, and homicidal ideation towards his sister. Mr. Hawkins has a history of ADHD and anger issues. He denies suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, and symptoms of psychosis to nursing staff. At the time of the assessment Mr. Hawkins is calm and cooperative. He reported this evening altercation was a miss understanding of what actually happened. Mr. Hawkins reported this evening getting into an altercation with his sister after an argument. He admits to hitting her. Mr .Hawkins stated, "when people are getting on me or as me to do a lot of thing I get anger." Mr. Hawkins reported accidentally injuring himself …show more content…
Hawkins mother, LEO, and his mother's boyfriend was contacted. The mother reported she only heard about the altercation between her two children after it happen. she was confronted about reports of Mr. Hawkins attempting to "smother" his sister. The mother reported she believes he was trying to keep her from telling her about the altercation and not to actually attempting to harm her in that way. Mr. Hawkins agree with his mothers reason. Sgt. Vain was contacted to collect collateral. He reported there was a call to the home, however the officer on duty was not in. The mother reported her daughter suffer multiple injuries to her face. She was not brought to the hospital for medical attention. The mother's boyfriend who was present at the home during the incident reported arguing with Mr. Hawkins. He reported Mr. Hawkins has a history of anger issues. The mother reports Mr. Hawkins has an appointment to Daymark on the 30th for his ADHD medication and is currently not taking any medication. She reports he has been attending Randolph Counseling Services and seeing Ms. Chambers there. The mother reports her son has a pattern of "acting out" every Tuesday when her boyfriend leave the home for to visit other family
