Subnetting Course Reflection

Decent Essays
This course so far has had very little review. The most difficult topics for me have definitely been subnetting, the issue I've had here is a get it when it's binary but converting it from binary back into normal numbers is really difficult for me I think the only way for me to really get it even though I have been practicing a lot is practicing more. The pace has been okay for me but I wish there was more time between when assignments are assigned and when they are due.

My plan is to manage my time by trying desperately to read and listen to the attend section Monday of each week. This plan doesn't always work having kids that live a couple of hours away. Hello, I’m writing to express my concerns with the subject and tutor of ‘Professional Writing 1’ (JRNL250). As the Discipline Leader on the aforementioned subject’s outline, you were the only other port of call I had regarding this matter. If this should be tended to by someone else, I apologise and ask for their details, or for this to be forwarded to them.…

The start of college classes has been a shock. I know you are overwhelmed with your Microeconomics and Calculus classes and the idea of Rhetoric is blocked out of your head. Even though you don’t want to think about Rhetoric, it is approaching soon and you need to be ready. One major thing that is different from Rhetoric and your high school English classes is you cannot just write your project or essay the night before it is due. But, there is no reason to be worried over it.…

During the Winter Quarter of 2018, I enrolled in CHEM1A at De Anza Community College to deepen my understanding of chemistry. Going into the class, I expected it to be similar to a high school class. However, I quickly discovered that it was quite different--it was literally and figuratively in a class of its own. There were a lot more advanced concepts taught in my CHEM1A course. At first, I was at a loss on how to study and adequately prepare for the class, given the volume of material and many details involved.…

The course AFAS 160 D1 is my first online class, and until now I still felt lucky to choose this class as one of my general education classes, because it gave me a great opportunity and an eye-opening experience about learning the African American Culture which I have never learned before and also gave me a chance to learn online. Describing this course to someone else, I would say this class is interesting and if you want to learn this class well, you need to prepare the Voice Thread and read the book carefully. To be honest, making videos on Voice Thread gave me a unique experience. I still remembered the first time I made a video on Voice Thread how nervous I was, I was afraid to have different ideas with other students and worried if they disagreed with me what should I do?…

It seems like every day that someone comes up to my brother and I asking,” Are you twins? What is it like to be a twin?” Aside from our near identical appearance, we always seem to top it off by answering at the same time, making people think,”wow they really are the same.” When seventh grade came this all stopped. Having been separated in every class and in after school activities, I found my own world away from my brother.…

Explaining this class to someone who hasn’t taken it, would be somewhat difficult due to my bouncing around with words and not staying on track. However, I would do my best to explain it. First, by telling them to take the test that determines what his or her learning patterns were. Then after we had figured out what type of learner they are, go from there. I would go by telling them what all four learning patterns were to the best of my own knowledge, and try to explain to them what they mean for them.…

Born and raised on the City of Gold Coast I had little understanding of the ways of Aboriginal people. I didn’t come in contact with many indigenous while growing up. There may have been one or two Torres strait islanders in my class but I never really paid much attention to where they came from I just treated them like other class mates. This didn’t help me broaden my knowledge of their culture, as we never discussed it.…

When I first began this class I thought that this would be just another introductory class that is required to orient you to the expectations of the particular college. Now, after completing this class, I know that this is not the case. Personal Dimensions of Learning has been a great help, not only to my school work, but also in my daily life. Before taking this class, I thought that learning, and completing daily tasks, were mostly memorizing the order of the way things are supposed to be done and just completing the task. I never liked this strategy, but it always seemed to be the most convenient way to get things done at school, home, and work.…
