From the words of the profound psychoanalysis Carl Jung, “No tree can grow to Heaven unless its roots reach down to Hell.” We all endure pain and suffering, it is a necessary component of life. However, it is how we choose to handle ourselves under these states that testifies who we are. It is such a small thing to have fallen, we all fall in life. However, it is how we stand back up that counts. There are numerous ways a subluxation could occur. Perhaps it could be cause by a fall, an injury, a sedentary lifestyle, stress, an unhealthy diet, or (often times) a combination of these. Regardless, all of these things are small, trivial things that are often overlooked in our lives. We don’t consider the ramifications that could occur. Yet such the simple, acute complication of a subluxation could have profound consequences for that individual. As a chiropractor, one can provide adjustments to correct the subluxation. However, even if the subluxation is corrected, and the individual appears to have been “fixed”, are they really healed? Though we have corrected the interference, have we corrected the reasoning behind why the interference has actually occurred? If the real cause of the subluxation has not been addressed, than the individual will eventually wind back up in their dis-eased
