I may be a little slow to the podcast game, but I blame my extremely short attention span. In no way am I a “books on tape” kind of girl, because then I become “daydream-look at the window –miss half the chapter” kind of girl. So years ago, when my husband suggested I download these podcasts, I dismissed him. Like I smiled and nodded my head and thought about puppies, ice cream cones, and sunshine while he listed a bunch of podcasts I would like. Stuff You Missed in History Class - I hated history class. Mainly because I couldn't memorize all the dates and information long enough to take quizzes and tests. Enter this podcast. This is the kind of stuff I wished I learned....it's interesting, educational, funny, and at the end of it - I still remember!
How to Do Everything - Sadly, this podcast was canceled, but if you are a newbie, you have over 200 episodes to listen to! Each episode answers a question sent in by a listener. The questions span from "How do I break up with my girlfriend of 20 years?" to "How do you build a human tower on the beach?"

I'm a BIG music lover, so when I have to get stuff done around the house and want a little background noise, my initial go-to is to turn on the radio. However, my husband will put his headphones in and tune all the madness in our house out as he does the dishes listening to his favorite podcasts. My list of episodes to listen to now run the length of my arm, so here are some opportunities to listen to your favorite content when you aren't driving:
During exercise
While washing or putting away dishes
While cleaning
While doing yard work or gardening
While folding laundry (because if you are anything like our family - the dreaded pile of laundry sits on the couch till you can bury your first born in it)
