In this research work, we taken care for the Just-In-Time inventory management of stock levels at Essar steel processing and distribution facility, Pithampur (Indore region) with organizing the smooth supplies to the major original equipment manufacturer (auto customers) including their vendors, suppliers and end-users for enhancing the plant efficiency with increase in sales volume and optimum usage of allocated resources. It provides the synergy between plant, marketing, quality, research and development, product development and process control functions of the business. By understanding the behavior and needs of the customer according to their outsourcing manufacturing processes and the fluctuating market conditions we are deeply involve for better serviceability with minimization of stock keeping units at both …show more content…
After capturing the customer voice we came to know that there is some gap & lack of our serviceability about the requirements & parameters that satisfy the customer. To achieve that customer satisfaction we need to plan our improvement strategy. To do the improvement we should have the base data which is affecting the performance of us as well as the associated vendors & suppliers to the original equipment manufacturers.
