Studies show that on an average, 2,000 children die every year as a consequence of child abuse or neglect (Coleman). When a child constantly makes the wrong decisions parents tend to hit harder and harder, and then use objects for abuse. If you look at child fatalities, that’s typically what happens. The abuse keeps escalating to the point where they end up using massive, massive amounts of force. As a result of using massive amounts of force, kids can be left scared or badly hurt due to the parents choice of punishment.
