One of the paragraph mentions the effects of wearing uniforms are not very clear, unsupportive from the data or to some extend that wear uniforms have negative impact on student. So this point provides very powerful evidence. Schools make students wear uniforms look for the better performances in school, the purpose is undeniable and kind. But what about there is nothing to do with what schools’ hope or all the things go into wrong way. There is no reason to do the things that have no effect or negative influence.

It is true to admit the benefits to learn rules and how to obey them before students step into the real world. However, students show their inside world in a good way should not be banned by rules or laws. They cannot accepted the prohibition just because of the difference against what schools’ expect. One example says that two students from a Pennsylv ania middle schools want to back up for the national breast-cancer awareness campaign by wearing bracelets, were prohibited by schools for the reason that not go with the schools’ rules. Their good intention were prohibited in an unacceptable way. Another example shows that a girl cannot express her faith by wearing rosary due to it go against the school’s dress code. Maybe they way students wear will give schools a different information but as students’ can explain …show more content…

The most important conclusion from this book is that the uniforms and safety issue or academic performance cannot correlate with each other. Brunsma also mentions that the students’ behaviors and performances have their own cause. In his book, he display s some of the beneficial assumptions of wearing uniforms, however, the researches show that instead of positive help to students, the negative effects are obvious. For example, poor uniformed students are identified from the rich students from another school, as the enforcement of uniforms occurs more in public schools, which is not that wealth compare to private schools. This will cause the bad impact on uniformed students’ self-esteem, especially who come from poor pubic school as they get distinguished due to their family
