Although not everybody would agree, my position is that kids should have no Homework. Can you believe that kids get grounded because of this alarming work. Trust me I've had experience, like many others.

“A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind, touches the heart, and shapes the future.” School for kids means eight hours wasted; meanwhile, for teachers it means teaching the next generation. Even though kids may think the teachers just want to give them homework or make them work hard so students can have no life, it 's quite the opposite. Teachers teach so that they can see their students succeed in life. They want to know that their students got the best education they could get and that they are able to be what they want to be in life.…

In the early years of a child’s life, the brain is capable of absorbing information exceeding the ability that of adults. Because of this, many schools determine that they will give these developing young minds homework, hoping that the children will retain the skills they are being taught. Although this philosophy does seem logical, giving homework to children can lead to a myriad of problems. Such problems include lack of physical activity, lack of bonding with their parents, and increased stress levels. According to Parker, researcher and senior lecturer Denise Pope from Stanford University "...found that too much homework can negatively affect kids, especially their lives away from school, where family, friends and activities matter” (1).…

Homework should be banned all over America since I strongly agree that it is pointless and time wasting for not only students of all grades, but for the teachers that have to grade each student’s paper. Homework has been a problem for many students all around the country and it is statistically proven that it has been their biggest source of stress in their lives it can lead to mental and physical distress. Teachers believe they don’t give out too much homework, but when combining all the other classes that the student is taking, it’s adding up the hours that the homework takes to complete. The worst part of it is the teachers expect it by the next day or by the next time they meet. This doesn’t include that nearly six out of ten students participate…

For my introduction, Has anyone ever taken any kind of paperwork or a project to work to get done or taken this to their home to get done? This is a topic about homework about how this form of paperwork should be outlawed in states or even countries. For my claim I think that homework should not be given by teachers by any kind of any shape or form and that homework should be banned from all states. The reason for this outlawing of homework is this first reason, First off the homework given to an individual is a much of a waste and It takes too much of an individual to get done but once this is done the grade falls on them because of that work that is given but that is if the teacher wasn’t explaining more of this assignment. One of these evidences prove that homework is a waste, If younger students need a chance to play outside and have a little free time, the reality is that older students are busy with work or with extracurricular activities that need time more than paperwork.…

My first grade teacher left a lasting positive impression on me; she was kind, caring, loving and always there for each and every student. That impression, the positive impact and those memories have stayed with me each and every day; it is so rewarding to know that a teacher can have so much influence on a young child. This is one of the main reasons I have chosen a career in Inclusive Early Childhood Education. Being a teacher, I know that I too will be able to provide a young child with the same kind of positive influence. As a senior in high school I had the opportunity to participate in the Mentorship Program.…
