Students Should Fund School Sports

School sports is a topic for discussion. There are many different ideas of whether they are beneficial and should stay or they should go. Even though sports may take away from music and arts or cause students to care so much about winning, sports bring many more positives that outweigh those negatives. Sports allows students to make new friendships and grow their character. Therefore, it would only make sense to continue to fund school sports.

First off, school sports help children who do not have good social skills and are alone. According to Katie Couric, “The loneliest kids it turns out were the ones who lacked athletic confidence or who shunned sports all together.” This shows how sports give students a way to find something they are
