Understanding that the way students learned in high school will not cut it in college because there is a higher expectation. The advice I would give to a prospective student starting in college is the information given to us in the beginning of chapter zero (0). First, determine which study methods works best for the individual (verbal, visual, auditory, and/or action). Secondly, time management by balancing school, work and play, and avoid procrastination at all cost. Thirdly, you need to be prepared for class, meaning read the textbook and take notes that you are able to understand. Fourthly, listen and take notes of instructor presentations. Fifthly, do not cram for test; create a better/efficient way to study. Lastly, write a quality better:
