Students Fall Behind Causes

What causes student to fall behind academically is the system. At times teachers pass students along to avoid doing the necessary paperwork, for students to receive the help they need. This then affects the student, because they are passed down from grade level to grade level struggling. If a child continuously struggles and try's to succeed in their classes they begin to lose hope and stop trying, this is also known as learning helplessness. The way this can be avoided is by giving the resources he/she made need to succeed in their studies and grow not only in an intellectual manner, but personal as well; by feeling confident in what they are doing.
