dressing up more casually than they ever have. Students would dress up in the latest fashion
trends or dressing up in nothing but a hoodie, sweatpants, and a pair of sandals to school or
work. Some have debated that there are benefits to students who dress formally than their peers
who dress casually. It’s true that there are benefits to those who dress formally, but there are also
benefits to those who dress casually. We should be allowing students to dress casually, for it can
improve their workflow, and improve their self confidence. Dressing casually shouldn’t affect
how students perform in school or at work, and we should be encouraging it more. …show more content…
We would wear the Save-A-Lot shirt that
we are given, but some of us would wear different styles of pants, shoes, and outerwear. Even
though what we are doing at work is against the dress code, we are all fully capable to doing our
jobs around the store. The most surprising thing about dressing somewhat casually at work, we
don't receive any complaints from our bosses or customers. In the article “Does Casual Dress
Affect Productivity?” by CC Holland, she describes that if employers are more lenient with the

and perceptions ( O’Callaghan 5). Professor Pine operated a test to have some students in a test
group to wear a superman t-shirt in order to see if the t-shirt had any effects on their
performance. The superman t-shirts not only made the students “more confident,” but the t-shirts
had made them ‘think they were physically stronger” than other students in the test group”
(O’Callaghan 13). For students who dress casually for school or work, the clothes we choose are
