Student W-Club Preparation

Preparing ahead is strongly encouraged and extremely helpful in the long run. Part of preparation is knowing what to expect and by informing junior high students or even elementary students of what to expect we can prepare them for what is to come. College is a very defining point in our lives as it determines what we occupation we will major in our future. Preparing kids for college at a young age is an excellent thing to do, but it is all about how you approach the situation. Even the thought of college at that age can be overwhelming and attempting to prepare them for that to early could result in a lot of stress.

As a student of a high school and college right around the corner preparing for what I will do with the rest of my life can be very stressful. W-club is an activity that allows students the opportunity to travel to the elementary schools and inform the kids about legal substances that can damage your health, brain, and body at a young age. By informing younger students of these drugs we can prepare them to know the dangers and what to expect as they approach the rest of there lives. Just like how the W-club informs the kids of the possible dangers and what to expect when presented with the dilemma of doing drugs in the future . When preparing kids for college we can do exactly this, not overwhelming them with the thought of college but telling them the benefits college can offer them.
