In the United States, Iowa has a 90.8 percent of graduation rate. The United States system is more advanced in teaching for the future jobs and for everyday living, because testing strategies are useful and resourceful. Three things that causes the United States to be more advanced on education are, the educations the teachers get in order to teach, the testing skills students use, and the school's lunch like giving them free lunch if they can’t afford it .

A college professor at a university of iowa says “ that if you give more test out to students the students will get use to frequently getting test and will help for the future jobs and careers”. Writing recently for The Atlantic, Jessica Lahey details research by Henry L. Roediger III, a professor of psychology at Washington University, in St. Louis. Roediger looked into the so-called “testing effect”—the strange fact that the act of taking a test seems to help students retain class material. Taking a test helps you remember the older materials because the test forces your brain to remember what you learned about to pass the test and get a good grade or pass the test. Testing also helps with future problems and understand other different classes that you maybe struggling on. The more test students take the more they will learn and get better grades for the future jobs and careers. A big help for the students will be the CST, Midterms, and the finals. Midterms evaluate how you are doing so far in class. Finals let you know how well you understood your classes, and the cst determine how well the teachers teaches the material of the class. Every district has its own way of what they add to the student's transcript most add the test grades and your final grades others add the exams and the standardized test. Taking the finals is a big thing because it depends what you learned in all your years and it stresses a lot of students but it will help them for their future careers and classes. The only bad thing about the finals is that the teachers put too much effort to try to make the student pass the finals and the students get to stressed out over it.
