Have you ever wondered what are some things that will help students succeed in 7th grade? Some kids might find it hard in middle school so some parents might worry. Some things to do be successful in 7th grade is make good friend choices, be organized, and self advocate. First making good friend choices helps during middle school for a number of reasons. Friends help minimize negative impacts. In the text “Making good friend choices”(www.helpguide.org) it states that “Spending time with positive people can boost your mood and your outlook”. This show that if someone was going through a negative time spending time with good friend can help them get through it. Good friends can help minimize negative peer pressure. In the text it states (www.yourlifecounts.org) “ use the buddy system Find a friend who shares your values and back each other up”. This shows that using friends can stop people from trying to do make you do something you don’t want to because they’ll back you up. …show more content…
Organization helps kids save time to do work. In the text it states (Same text for each reason work.chron.com ”. Time spent looking for research you’ve already compiled or pulling together your notes taken from various classes is time you can’t afford to lose”. This shows that people who don’t waste time looking and having to redo stuff have more time to study and get good grades.
