Her life experiences have created a wise young woman and her determination to succeed in high school and after have kept her motivated through her academic course load.
Academically, Amunet’s efforts represent a college bound student that consistently works to stay motivated and succeed. Her course load is typical for our college bound students. She is a diligent student, serious about her education and future. Success in college preparatory and honors courses throughout her career are an indication of her academic ability. Amunet’s hardworking and diligent work ethic is what I believe will allow her to be successful in her college courses.

Unlike her parents, who were forced to drop out of school early in her life, she, with the support of her family, is committed to continuing her education at Santa Barbara Business College in Business Administration. I have enjoyed my time at Frostburg State University and with hard work I have been able to make the dean’s list and be accepted in the Honors program during the first semester of my freshman year. I hope to continue to work even harder during the second semester and throughout my school career. As a small university, Frostburg has enabled me to benefit from many things, such as the small size classes. It wasn’t until I got older, that I finally understood and recognized the struggle that my family went and still continues to go through. My realization began when I was about 11-years old and I noticed that my father not only worked for his own small gardening service, but that he also took my older brothers to work with him. Everything was going normal in my family then, we rented a house that was in the name of my aunt, had enough money for the bills,…
