I thought the author’s point was valid yet could have been further supported by giving thoughtful suggestions of different school environment models and how to consider making SMP fit into the setup of a given school environment. As an example, again, with my school in particular, we have an independent study program setup where our students normally come in once a week for at least one hour. Our meeting times with the students are precious and one way we as teachers at our school address the intervention that is needed from doing SPM is by devoting our Wednesday mornings as essentially office hours for extra academic intervention support and teaching for the students who need it and come in to get the extra help. This is just one example in how to integrate SMP into routine classroom activities (as far as schedules are concerned). Obviously every school is different (including in terms of setup) and may have different answers for this, but again it would have been helpful if the author again offered a few examples for suggestion, especially for the traditional K-12 public schools for
