I discovered the Students Orientation Leader job opening and would formally like to submit my application. The customer service focus of the position and opportunity to work with incoming students stood out to me, as I am an accounting major looking to build my network as I clarify my specific business interests. Additionally, the potential for working a leader seems like a great fit to continue growing my leadership experience. I am excited to share with you more about my skills and experience for the Students Orientation Leader.

My previous experience working with customers in a retail environment and interacting with many different types of individuals throughout my academic experience has equipped me with strong active listening and communication skills. Using My ASU and other ASU websites comes naturally to me and I frequently guide my classmates to resources through those systems and much more. Moreover, my own experience navigating campus resources would be useful to guide students, parents, and other guests to the appropriate resource.

This position would provide me with learning opportunities in a professional environment. My enthusiasm to grown in these areas and professionalism in the workspace, partnered with my previous work experience, prepares me for the Students Orientation Leader role.
