To better prepare them for these situations (after they’ve earned their Bachelor’s in Science of Nursing) they will typically take the following courses: pharmacology, principles of anesthesia, biochemistry, anatomy, pathophysiology, research, and professional aspects of nurse anesthesia practice (4).
