For example, a common misunderstanding in a computer class is that if students knows how to type, they will know how to perform various technique strategies that they can use to create a professional document with little or no help from the teacher. However, typing is not the only tool that a student need to perform a task. There are skills that are needed along with clear understanding of what is expected to perform the task. Students approach learning as a tool that will cause them to dwell deeper in the roots to help them to fully understand the concepts that the teacher wants them to learn. When the teacher can understand what the students expects, there will be little room for misunderstanding (Schwarm, VanDeGrift, 2002). Another misunderstanding within a computer class may be, how do you add a table? There are a couple of ways you can add a table. First you can use the insert tab to insert a table. Second you can use the Auto Sum to add a table. This example demonstrates different ways that the students can interpret the question. The answer that it is to reflect from the question is the use of the Auto Sum to total the information from the table. The backward design will be the focus for my lessons. I will explain the goals and objectives and identify the essential and overarching questions in a way the students will understand the aiming target of learning. The activities that will help in leading the students in the way the lesson want them to go, will enhance the big idea of the lesson. Therefore, the students will be able to show what they have learned in a way that they can apply it any areas that are not only based on one subject
