Today I had a Chance to Sit Down to Interview a Current Student at ECU.
I had asked Christi Baker who is a current student at ECU. Also, a co-worker of my if I could interview her. She is attending a college that I am really hoping to transfer to. Christie has attended ECU for three years. She is working on her Management degree, She also is an employee with State Employees’ Credit Union.
While Interviewing Christi today I have learned a lot of beneficial information about ECU and her. One of the most important issue she made very clear was to do all your research and know what ECU offers. What I really want to do my major in. That was stress the most today, mainly because she said that she had changed her major three times before she

I asked some additional questions about the actual classes and school. I felt like knowing these answer would allow me to get a better understand if I definitely wanted to attend ECU. I wanted to know more about her professors so one of my questions were who is your favorite. She said that it was her Oceanography professor mainly because he gave the hardest test ever. Which I thought was strange. She said that even though the test is hard he made the classes so fun. Her most boring professor was Business Capstone Leadership class. Christie also said that she learn the most valuable information from the Business 3200 class, it was a pilot class that she had to actually apply for. This class focus on students that are already working in their careers. I found that very interested and hope that I have a chance to take that class.I shared earlier on that Christi changed her major three times. She started off in Finance then after taking so many accounting classes she decided that wasn’t for her. She then changed her major to Computer Programming and she realizes that she had nothing in common with that major. Her finally major is in Business Management and she decided on that because she has some management background already and she found that those classes were more with what she wanted to do. I am pleased to learn that with ECU a person can change their major as many times they want and can continue to study at

The University of New England College of Medicine has an interesting curriculum that is centered around the patient in order to treat the mind, body and spirit. Michael, I have to agree with you, this was a challenging yet rewarding semester! Honestly, I love classes like this because at the end of the semester I end up taking so much with me to use at work and home. In addition, I really enjoyed Dr. Thomas pushing our minds to think more critically about our adaptive plans and expanding our limited points of view when dealing with adaptive management. The readings supported the lesson’s we learned each week and were great aid’s in reassessing and advancing components of our plan.…

Leadership Interview I recently had the opportunity of interviewing Mr. Maity who has more than ten years of experience in leadership positions within his organization. He started his career after grad school with a small non-profit research organization. His leadership abilities were quickly realized and he became a part of a large company as a Project Manager. He recalls that in his first job, the small size of the company and the nature of operations meant that soon after joining the firm, he started taking up multiple responsibilities with many being outside of his core functional role. This valuable learning experience has allowed him to excel in his current leadership position.…

How often does a college student learn that a fellow peer is 30 years old, married and has a stable job? I certainly didn’t, but the interview I was given the opportunity to deliver showed just that. Going into this interview with Katherine, I didn’t know a thing about her. I approached the interview with a series of generic questions in an attempt to get to know her. I asked about Katherine’s hobbies, family, friends, current job, even where she would like to travel.…
