As an immigrant to this amazing country, I have suffered low levels of discrimination and limitations due to my legal status. As a matter of fact, my parents and sisters live in America thanks to an investment visa they got. However, since I’m already 21, I had to come here with a student visa. This situation diminishes my ability to do the same things that they do. As a matter of fact, I cannot get a job outside campus. Plus, I have to return to my country after I graduate because this is only a temporary visa (something that I do not want to do because I have no family there). The authority, in this case the government, has rejected my petition to get a residency (through my grandmother) due to my age. Therefore, the intersection between
