Student Council President

There are many roles in a governmental system that continue aid a body of people in functioning. Governments take different shapes and sizes in different places. There are government positions in countries and in schools, for example. And the most sought-after position, is president. Although both presidential positions in both school systems and the federal government have similarities ultimately, they are different in many ways. One of the main differences between the U.S president and a student council president is that the student council president isn’t running the whole country during their term. This makes a difference in how much of a difference they make during their term. While President, he or she signs numerous documents into law that alter the lives of all those living in America. While in office as the Senior Class President, he or she may sign many documents once they were either approved or denied however these aren’t law changing documents that make a huge impact in the way a school runs. For most, this includes concerts, assemblies, musicals etc. While it would be nice for the United States president to attend most events in the country, it’s physically impossible. There are too many events throughout the U.S such as benefits, balls, and community walks. As well as this, a student body president should also be willing to fill any jobs not fulfilled if time permits. Such jobs could be helping with a bake sale, volunteering for a food drive or helping paint sets for a play. Again, this would be nice to see a county’s president doing, but there isn’t enough time in a day for that to happen considering that these jobs could range from assisting a family in rebuilding a home or helping organize an
