I am currently a full time public school teacher and have been for the past four years. This transition will be difficult but I am also ready to make the change in efforts to further my career and in order to reach my professional goals. I plan to maintain employment in a public school setting as a part-time employee so that I will have two full time days available to work at my field placement setting. Although I have the support from my family, I will not be able to depend on them financially and therefore may need to pick up another part time job on the weekends and or evenings. I am not married and do not have any children so this is a great opportunity for me to take advantage of focusing on solely myself and reach the goals that I want
