Not only do scholarships pay for most of the student's college education it helps college students stay out of debt when they graduate college. Scholarships are offered to students when they get a high score on the SAT or have a high GPA. Academic and athletic scholarships come with hard work and dedication.
While in high school student athletes have to keep a C+ or higher to participate in game activities. Most schools have this policy because it helps students juggle school, practice, games and homework. I feel as if it challenges them to regulate the time they have while continuing to play a sport. Most schools believe student athletes need to keep their grades up because they are the best and most hard working students, representing their school.
