Someone once said “ Don’t stop when you’re tired, stop when you’re done.” This is relevant because even though the athletes are tired they have to keep pushing to strive to do what they love yet continue to get good grades. Athletes need to keep getting good grades while attending school. First, the athletes are representing the school they go to. Second, scholarships will come easier for them with good grades and good effort in sports. Lastly, they will have to keep their grades up too stay in sports.

They help pay for college, and are also a good way to help the student pursue their career. Not only do scholarships pay for most of the student's college education it helps college students stay out of debt when they graduate college. Scholarships are offered to students when they get a high score on the SAT or have a high GPA. Academic and athletic scholarships come with hard work and dedication.
While in high school student athletes have to keep a C+ or higher to participate in game activities. Most schools have this policy because it helps students juggle school, practice, games and homework. I feel as if it challenges them to regulate the time they have while continuing to play a sport. Most schools believe student athletes need to keep their grades up because they are the best and most hard working students, representing their school.
Student athletes need to keep their grades up while in sports. Students failing classes lowers the public opinion about the school. They are the faces of the school that get scholarships. It's important because student athletes help their school's reputation.
