Student Athlete Mentor Position

Being a first-generation student who struggled heavily in a research institution, I developed a burning passion to assist students who lack academic and social. Therefore, I am writing to express my interest in the Student-Athlete Mentor position at California State University Sacramento. I am a recent college graduate who is striving to expand my professional experience and knowledge about students success programs so that in the future, I will have the abilities to establish my own academic assistance programs in low-income communities. I believe that CSUS, the Student-Athlete Mentor position, and myself are immensely compatible because we have a commitment to students’ success. As an inspiring program coordinator, I am a self-motivated leader with an optimistic personality and strong interpersonal skills that establish an inclusive and effective work environment wherever I go. My experience with scheduling meetings, event publication, and tracking projects in Google Suite has developed excellent organizational and time-management skills that will allow me to juggle multiple tasks. This has nurtured me into a detail-oriented person who takes extreme pride and care in my work.
