I strive to play volleyball at the highest competition, whether it is collegiate volleyball or beyond. I can guarantee you that you will not meet another recruit who matches or exceeds my level of work ethic and determination. I have proven myself to be an excellent athlete as well as an extraordinary student. From staying after practice to put in more work, to completing classes grades above my own, I am an extremely hard worker on and off the field. Complementing my work ethic, I also possess great character and respect towards other people, especially on the volleyball court. The combination of my perseverance, in both volleyball and academics, along with my character and sportsmanship that makes me a perfect recruit as a student-athlete. …show more content…
All the while taking honors courses and a college level geography course. I have won numerous awards academic wise including: math wiz award, Elks National Writing Contest state runner-up, and placed in the top 5% of 8th graders (as a 7th grader) in the National Scholastic Academic Contest. In Junior high, I was accepting into the FLIGHT Academy (a personalised learning program) to accommodate my hard-working attitude and my willingness and drive to succeed. I was chosen as a representative for the FLIGHT Academy and was able to give presentations and have meetings with district administrators and school board leaders across the country educating and promoting personalised learning. I participating in both a commercial and podcast for Epiphany Learning as well. I also volunteer at the Bread of Healing, non-for-profit moving company, local church cafe, and was a part of the CESA 1 Youth Council. Encompassing both my academic success with my athletic success, I consider myself to be a well-rounded student-athlete. I want to continue both my academic and athletic pursuits at a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and ultimately yearn to play at the highest competition level possible. I hope to become a great example to follow and inspire others to work hard to make their dreams a
