Usually in a drama/romance films there are only two protagonist that are intended to fall in love with each other. However, in this film, the main focus is on three main characters and their love lives. Throughout the film it can be noted by the audience that the actors genuinely mesh with their characters. Unlike other films that fall under the same genre the actors seem to be trying too much to match with the feelings of their character. For example in the film The Fault in Our Stars the role playing between the two main characters seems dull and mundane. Joe Neumaier from the New York Daily News asserts, “Connelly and Collins are spot-on casting for mother and daughter… and each has soulful moments.” Neumeier 's comment regarding the connection between the actors and their characters proves the genuineness and realism of the film. The fact that this film does not follow the social norms of a drama/romance film makes it unique. The completely different yet similar plots of all three characters that combine at the end. Along with the special selective music the director choose for certain scenes. And lastly the unforgettable theme that any young people can relate to. All these elements that come naturally together create the smooth flow of the film Stuck in Love. Just like any great ending to an essay this film ties all the loose ends by being in the same setting on the same holiday but with a whole new different vibe. In conclusion it can be safe to say that the definition of some categories may sometimes not define a certain element the proper
