Stubhub Center Case Study

Soccer is starting to become a very popular sport in the United States, but it still cannot compete with its very own stadium like many of the successful teams in the city such as the Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Clippers and the Kings. The LA Galaxy had to move through out three stadiums as a franchise, The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, The Rose Bowl, and Finally the StubHub Center (formally The Home Depot Center) which seems as this is their Home. The Stadium is located on CSU Dominguez Hills campus in the city Carson which is part of the Los Angeles County. I recommend this because its perfect timing so that you won’t be caught in traffic and not miss the action in the game. There is two ways to access parking for the event at the stadium. One is there actual parking lot that they have which cost about 30 dollars for parking or you can park at CSUDH parking lot which is 15 dollars and involves at least a 10 min walk to the stadium or less. With either decision you choose you could enter the stadium through any of the four main entrances to the stadium. I like the organization of the gate management first doors to open is the main gate then as the time gets closer the other gates start to open. Finding where your seats are being very easy and fast to find at the StubHub Center, you have the section number on the stairway the row letter on the end of each chair and the seat number on the seat. If you can’t find your seat then, there are staff willing to help and two big map directory on the north and south part of the stadium that helps you guide how the stadium is formatted. If you want to watch a decent game at the StubHub Center, then it will cost you approximately 75 dollars that’s only for one person of course. In case of an emergency the stadium does have two medical rooms in which they have nurses and paramedics there to help in case something happen. Certain engagement from the P.A announcer to pump up the crowd is when he says that tonight’s event is underway, and gives out the starting lineup for the away team and then for the home team. He gets the crowd to say the players last name from the home team has he announces the first name. Another form of Engagement is when The South side of the stadium chants “LA” and the north side “Galaxy”. Of course we cannot forget about the sportsmanship conduct shown to the referee when making bad calls it’s what entertains fans as well. During the half time show two sponsors come to the field and grant them prize. Shasta gets a couple and makes them get in to bubbles and dribble the ball from the goal to their couple and then they spouse has to dribble the ball into goal to shoot. This is a very interesting and fun to watch game and I hope it keeps other fans entertained as it does to me. Shasta has a message of their drink but also that soccer keeps a family together through communication. Nissan gets associates to get people in the stadium to sign up for a raffle before the game starts and rewards the lucky winner with a brand new Nissan that was promised or offered. Not only shows but we can’t forget about social media they encourage the fans to upload pictures of their soccer fever on Instagram and
